We were to pick from the Twilight Challenges that have been posted so far 51 to be exact!! I choose two #5 & #41.
My first Project is for Challenge #5: Which team are you? Edward, Jacob or Switzerland?
I’m team Vampire (Edward) all the way!! Since Twilight is a book.. I decided to make a Card with a detachable Bookmark.. I used a combination of Artful Inkables “Into the Moonlight” & “Fictionally Inspired” sets…along with a set that I found at Barnes N Noble from a company called NECA (they make movie themed merchandise).
My card base is Real Red, I used a piece of 5 1/2 x 11 card stock. I scored at 4 1/4 to make a standard size card then I used the Cutter Kit to perforate the line along the edge where my bookmark will detach. I ran a piece of Basic Black through the Big Shot with a Texturz plate to emboss the background. Then I spritzed it with some Pearl Shimmer Paint.
I used a Twilight Charm on my bookmark and a clear glitter pen to add some sparkle to my focal image.
My next project is for Challenge #41: The Love Triangle… Bella has to make a choice over and over in these books, and her heart is always going in different directions. She just wants to have them both and we know that ultimately in the end she kind of does get them both in her life. Jacob will always have a special place in her heart and Edward will always have her heart.
My card shows how they both mean everything to her and how there will always be a place in her heart for both of them. The one thing I think of when I think of the Love Triangle is the bracelet that Jacob gave to Bella with the small Wolf Charm he carved for her and how Edward wanted her to be able to wear it always but wanted a piece of him on there as well, he gave her a diamond hear charm! So I used some more Twilight Charms from Artful Inkables on this project as well.
My card base is Riding Hood Red, I added some other colored card stock to match the piece of retired DSP I used.. Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette & Very Vanilla. The set I used is “Always” from Stampin’ Up!
