I played along with this past week’s card sketch SC296 over at Splitcoast and I used the new In Color Blushing Bride and new core color Early Espresso.. I think this might be my favorite!! I used some of the Level 1 Hostess In Color DSP paper pack and the Level 1 Hostess set Because I care and the level 2 set Occasional Quotes and a retired set for the Happy Anniversary I put inside..

Welcome back to another edition of The Friday Mashup!! We have another stamper joining us, I’d like to welcome Terry to the Mashup… You can see Terry’s creations on her blog Goin’ Over The Edge.

This week we are doing Coffee cards… and I can use some Coffee lol… I was torn this week I wanted to use a retired set called “Like it a Latte” but went with “Pun Fun” This set has a lot of un-inked rubber in it.. and this stamp was one of them.

I used 2 challenges with this card.. This weeks MoJo Monday Sketch & Splitcoaststampers Color challenge.

This is the first time I played with the new In Color Blushing Bride.. I really like it, a very soft shade of pink with a blush undertone. I also used a new background stamp called Well Worn for the texture on my Early Espresso piece.

Here is a card I made for Mother’s Day…. It’s next Sunday! I really like these two colors together, Bermuda Bay & Soft Suede.

I cased a card in the Idea Book & Catalog and changed it up some.. I used the set Wonderful Favorites and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.

The sketch is this week’s MoJo Monday Sketch and I pulled the colors right off the Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper Pad you can get for free right now during Sale-a-Bration…

and… as you can see from my photo it’s gorgeous outside today so I had to take my photo outside. It’s not freezing for once!!! Not super warm either by almost 55 degrees so I’ll take it..

Time for another Color Challenge.. And I think I’m on a Basic Grey Kick..I seem to be drawn to this color for some reason!My inspiration comes form this cool tote I saw at Barnes &  Noble last week..

So this weeks colors are Basic Grey/ Basic Black/ Melon Mambo & Whisper White..

I used the Sanded Background on my Soft Suede Card base, my leaves are done using the Rock N’ Roll technique. The leaf is from Autumn days and the sentiment is from the Holiday Mini Set Grateful Greetings. You can see more sets from the Holiday mini over on my Stampin’ Up! Site. My colors are Crushed Curry, Dusty Durrango, Old Olive, Very Vanilla & Soft Suede.

Okay I’m back and I have my card ready… Sorry about that! Sometimes life just gets in the way of the fun stuff… KWIM? So last week was the letter “B” and you had your choice to use a Set that begins with “B” or make a card related to the Boys in your life… I went with the letter “B” and the set I choose was Boho Backgrounds… and I used only this set!!

I went with the Color Throwdown #60 and Weekend Sketch #91 from Beate.

and this is what I came up with!!

I sponged everything on this card..lol My background with stamped with Green Galore Craft Ink and embossed with Clear powder.. I used the Scalloped, 1 3/8, 1 1/4 ,1 & 1/4  inch circle punches. I did some faux stitching with the white gel pen and some paper piercing!

This week we are on the letter “C”, and “C” is for Cars!! So make something using Car stamps or get out those sets whose name begins with the letter “C”… I’ll be back next week to post mine and share yours.. Just link up in the Mr. Linky Box below!

This is from the Sweet Centers Stamp Set, which you can use with the Sweet Treat Cups. I started with my candy first, then looked to see what colors would match the card stock. I’m all about coordinating!

My base is Dusty Durango, I ran a piece of Soft Suede through the Big Shot using a Texturz Plate, and then I added a strip of Crushed Curry that was punched with a Scalloped edge. I stamped my Balloon image on a piece of Very Vanilla using my markers to ink of the image. Then I re-stamped the image on a piece of Old Olive & Dusty Durango and cut out the basket image and paper pieced them. I used Old Olive, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry & Soft Suede Inks.

I tied a piece of Crushed Curry polka dotted ribbon around the Vanilla piece and then layered it onto a piece of Old Olive and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. My Happy Birthday is stamped in Soft Suede and punched out with the Modern label punch. I added some Old Olive Brads to it before I adhered it down. Of course I had to use Teeny Tiny wishes!
